LAURA HARTWIG GRAN RESERVA 2007, COLCHAGUA (Ch$18,000).
This wine, which comes from the vineyards of the winery located just two kilometers from Santa Cruz, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (39%), Carmenere (31%) and Syrah (29%).
In the nose it is the spiciest, warmest and blackest of all the wines, but its medium-bodied mouth feel together with that sweet, black, pleasant fruit manages to deliver a fascinating freshness and depth.
Without a doubt, a great and balanced Colchagua wine.
